The assessment usually takes between 1.5 and 2 hrs. This is where I go through a questionnaire to learn the history of your dog and your daily life with them. We will touch on nutrition, as well as appropriate tools, exercise and play for your dog.   I will assess your dog and their behaviors and begin working on establishing a foundation for training to move forward with achieving your goals. 

The assessment must be done prior. 

After we come up with a training plan for you and your dog, now we get to work! These sessions can take place in your home, or a public setting. Depends on what your dog is ready for and what we are trying to accomplish.

Communications 101 

• Leash pressure intro
• Marker words "yes" & "no"
• Food lure

Intro to PLACE and Down

• Learning the art of doing nothing

Impulse Control 

• learning to be neutral to distractions
• correcting problem behaviors and rewarding the good

Heel and Loose leash walking 

*note this may not look the same for every dog, but this is a general idea of what we can  start.

We will cover everything you would in the bundle of 4 sessions plus more!

This would be ideal for any reactivity, severe anxiety, or other behavior modification issues.

*Note some dogs may need more sessions than others. That is ok! We will utilize as many sessions as necessary to meet your goals!
